I'm being "plagued" with another injured knee. I went through this with my right knee in early March. I visited my Doctor (for once) and took his advice. He gave me some medication and a brace and told me to wear the brace. He showed me precisely how and for how long to "ice" it. It took about three weeks for the pain to really go away.
