when I married my dear husband who has had epilpsy since he was 2 yrs. old, no one wanted to be around him, yes the family of God and then when I became disabled in 2000, it was a match set. I know how the world feels about people with disability, but our fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord?? We went through Texas, visiting a 100 churches and no one had a disabled ministry nor wanted to have one. All they're willing to do is "accommodate us. I cancelled the minister who was going to visit us and talk. He can't change peoples hearts and only God can, but then maybe they don't want their hearts to change. But I am tired of the hurt and turning away.. I will still try to help anyone I can and study Gods word and pray.
I never give up on my Lord and Savior, just the family of God. I ask you or anyone who reads this, if there are any disabled who go to your church, please reach out to them and encourage them and open the way for them to serve God and be their friends.
