Previously I asked 3 questions to the mormons who come to this forum and received no answers. This time im going to show some of the deep doctrines and ideas of mormonism from their own "prophets" and leaders.

Something the mormons are taught and have been taught for a long time. Is that they are not to do any thinking of their own. To never question what is taught by their prophets teachers etc.

There is more just like this and it never stopped. It is taught even today in some way shape or form. That "when the prophet speaks the thinking has been done" The mormons are not allowed to question any thing that is taught and are to just accept it blindly as though the "prophet/teacher is in fact him self a god and is not capable of failing. But they are only men. Men who have through out the history of the mormon church had every prophecy they have ever made fail.

Do you truly wish to follow a man blindly with out question? Even when what he says rings false and makes your skin crawl?

The mormon missionaries who come here or come knocking on your door will not tell you these things. They will not teach you or tell you of their deep doctrines but only what they call the Preparatory doctrines which have no substance and may even sound very christian. The fact is these doctrines they teach are bait to draw you in. Think of these doctrines as a leg trap used to trap small animals that are baited. Once caught in the trap they club you.

Once in the trap of mormonism they club you with their deep doctrines slowly over time and at some point you will accept them and become so trapped you may never escape and die in the false beliefs.

mormons who are here on ccnet please think on these things. We are warned to not do exactly what you are doing.

Who supposedly gave smith the plates location etc etc? Moroni what was Moroni? an angel.

Now there is no logical way around this. We were warned and you accepted just as smith did and those before him.

If i can answer to ur first post about authority.

I dont really kno much about mormons but i do know that there are verses in the bible in which god orders people to be stonned to death if they dont agree with the judge or local authority.

Yeah, Don't follow Mormonism blindly, let Nova do the thinking for you instead....

Without checking your source, I'll just assume your accurate here. How does this differ from how Christians feel about their prophets and leaders (likely to be biblical prophets only). Once you know for yourself they speak the truth, would you do anything to oppose the truth? If you know a prophet speaks God's words, why would you second Guess God?

Sorry Nova, this isn't deep doctrine, and having been a missionary, we do teach that principle of gaining a testimony (for yourself) and then remaining true to your faith in Christ.

You quote Mormon leaders and literature a lot in these forums... its a good thing you don't do it the chats, or that could be considered proselytizing.... Oh, wait! You do! ...hmm, and not kicked off yet? There is something unfair about that.

Same old same old, nova, christianity is exactly the same, they think they hold the only truth. You should give up beating up on mormons and focus your time on something more productive

The lds so called church is leading many millions strait to hell. If you do not like me telling the truth and reading it then don't click my posts and type /ignore nova in chat. But do not propose that i avoid telling the truth because it may step on toes. Simply put i see a toe (lie misconception false assumption etc) i will step on it.

Just because YOU say the LDS church is leading millions straight to hell doesn't make it so nova. Like I said, you are the one claiming to have the only truth. What makes you so sure that Islam or Mormonism doesn't have it. See you can only BELIEVE that you have the truth, but because you can't see or hear God, you can never know for certain. The problem starts when people think they KNOW the truth instead of just believing it.
