This is my recipe that i've edited from the original, hence the weird amounts lol.
Oatmeal Scotchies 1 3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda 3/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cups butter flavor Crisco 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1 cup + 2 tablespoons sugar 1 cup + 2 tablespoons brown sugar 3 eggs 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla 4 cups quick or old fashioned oats 12 ounces butterscotch chips Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. In large mixer bowl, beat Crisco, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until creamy. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats and add butterscotch morsels. Drop by measuring tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 7-8 minutes for chewy cookies, 9-10 minutes for crispy cookies. Makes about 6 dozen. |
