Ingred. Needed:
2 bxs of Stovetop dressing (or generic) 1 1/2 lbs g. beef 1 c. onion Ins. Potatoes 1 can of cr. mushroom or celery soup 1 pkg. of white gravy mix or sausage butter Milk or creamer (can be coffee creamer gives taters a better flavor )worchester sauce 1 egg garlic (will need to grease the dish with cooking spray or c. oil) shredded cheese if desired to add on after baked *Will need big baking dish First preheat oven @ 350.Then brown beef with oinios, 1 tsp garlic , 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp worchester sauce..DRain off grease and set aside.While thats cooking you can boil h2o for taters make about 4 c. of instant taters(go by directions on box)Add 1/2 tsp galric to taters and you can use creamer or milk in potaties, set aside when done.Mix the gravy mix according to the directions(*Note I hvae found that the mix says need 2 cups of h2o found out makes it really thick. I had 1/2 cup more of h2o)Heat until it thickens, set aside. Mix in with browned beef and can of mushroom soup, can add a 1/4 c butter to this , good flavoring.Set aside. Next prepare the dressing mix according to the box after prepared add 1 egg.Press dressing into baking dish making a crust.Then put taters into the crust make it flat.Next add the gravy mixture on top.Bake in oven for about 20-30 minutes.When its done you can add shredded cheese on top if desired.Goes good with broccolli and cheese .
