My feelings on being single and a christian are basically its tough. Some people say that you can survive with just Christ, but I believe we are meant for companionship. Its hard enough looking for a great person, but one who loves and serves God like I do is sometimes impossible. The trial is to bring everything to God and he will provide our desires. Not easy but worth it.

Church? Community service groups? Special interest clubs?

An interesting testimony by a member of my local church.
From a single guy, age 20-ish...
He said he started tithing. (Giving 10 percent of his income to Christian charities.)
Twelve months later he found himself out of debt, and with a great girlfriend. He said he wasn't even seeking a girlfriend. They just kinda bumped into each other.

Hmmm.. food for thought.

being single is indeed hard to handle, and for me tryin' to find someone that believes in the lord as much as i do and desires to have the love god only wants will take a miracle *heh* for me to find, that is, but hey don't give yup i'll pray for ya so you can find that person that will truly desire what you desire in your heart (online datin' bad idea) i did that twice it ended badly hehe so just take your time, i would say so much more but, then i'd be ramblin' heeh i do that alot >.<

Yea, I'm single too and still waiting or the One God has prepared for me. I just have to be patient and remember that it's all in His timing, not ours.

Do not depend on social/personal dating/network sites to find you a mate.
Lavalife, EHarmony, BigChurch etc. are loaded with scammers and fraudsters, phoney member profiles and photos etc.
BigChurch is likely the worst of the three.

lol Trust me, I have no intentions of going on a dating site to find a guy. I'd rather meet him the old fashioned way: in person.
