Genesis 22:14-24
14So Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide. And it is said to this day, On the mount of the Lord it will be provided.

We ended the Last teaching before Abraham named this place because I wanted to talk specifically about JEHOVAH-JIREH the name that Abraham named this place. And how today many people use this for everything from asking God to help them find a parking place at the mall to Asking God to help doctors and researchers find cures for incurable daises and everything in-between. The most however is for people and their finances. I however believe that as the body of Christ we have lost sight of Gods provision. That This is something that is so very basic and not something we should ever trivialize . God never wanted Isaac to be sacrificed . He wanted Abraham's heart. HE wanted the parent to allow God to have his Child and allow God to have control of the Child's life. So in the order that God provides for the child , he provides for his education, his welfare, his marriage partner and everything in-between.
God provides for whom he loves and he wants us to have all that we need. And He is never going to denigh . It is when it is in excess and the blessings becomes destructive that he acts like a parent to his children. And for this we Love our heavenly father for becoming our parent and Loving us all the way to the woodshed.
After this even God gives another word to Abraham

15The Angel of the Lord called to Abraham from heaven a second time 16And said, I have sworn by Myself, says the Lord, that since you have done this and have not withheld [from Me] or begrudged [giving Me] your son, your only son,

This scripture indicates that the angle of the of is pre incarnate Jesus but is referred to as an angle of the Lord here.

17In blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants like the stars of the heavens and like the sand on the seashore. And your Seed (Heir) will possess the gate of His enemies,(C) 18And in your Seed [[e]Christ] shall all the nations of the earth be blessed and [by Him] bless themselves, because you have heard and obeyed My voice.(D)

God always enlarges the vision when he speaks and brings a word in due season. In this case he is not just telling Abraham he is going to tell him he is going to have a son . he has already had Isaac. But he is being told who his descendants were going to be. . The information is enlarged and the word now includes the linage of Jesus Christ will come from Abraham. This Prophetic Word that talks about Abraham's decedents Possessing the gates of his enemies talks of is family being great men of war, men that will understand the poultices and government of the day and be leaders the lead men into battle to posses the gates of the enemy.
19So Abraham returned to his servants, and they rose up and went with him to Beersheba; there Abraham lived. 20Now after these things, it was told Abraham, Milcah has also borne children to your brother Nahor: 21Uz the firstborn, Buz his brother, Kemuel the father of Aram, 22Chesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph, and Bethuel. 23Bethuel became the father of Rebekah. These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham's brother. 24And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, bore Tebah, Gaham, Tahash, and Maacah.

Abraham hand many more children as are mentioned above and his clan grew as God had promised. He had a large family and God became the center of his family. Their faith was strong . there is more to come . We see that God had to go through much to get to the heart of Abraham. We have to understand that God will go through many lengths to get to us. He Loves us from before there was time and He knew you from that time. So to be here where you are now reading this is almost to much to understand. We are to know this. God has not forgotten who you are. HE has not stopped wanting you as apart of His life and he has always wanted you as his child. He knows your needs and he Knows your desires and God as your father and your parent wants your obedience. Why? because he know what is the right thing for you before you do.
How does this all fit in with prayer? Easy. This is now about worship. When we go to worship we are now involved in obedience, forgiveness and most of all honor to God. We are to walk the way God directs. We are to honor those in leadership above us. God Placed them there. IF then are in need of Discipline God will place people in the right place to do that for Leadership had that check and balance system because disciplines those he loves and chastens them. God loves his people and God wanted Abraham heart HE wanted Isaac�s Faith to follow after his fathers and that is shown by example.
Prayer is the only way we can have divine relationship with God. This is not to be taken lightly and it isn�t to be a 10 min. a day flippant place of your life. This kind of relationship is more. When you have a deep relationship with God that follows after what Abraham showed his son Isaac you will spend as much time as God asks of you to spend with him and your busy life will take a back seat. You will a just what needs to get cut out. It might be the TV or the movies or the video games or the chat time. You will spend the extra time seeking the heart of God so He can give you direction and peace. You will find that time to find that relationship that God wants to have with you it is all to important for you and for God because everything in your life depends on it. God is making your life into what HE wants and your life as you planed it is becoming so much less . This is like I have said before obedience, worship and prayer surrender giving to God what he has asked for so he can be God and in control over and above our desire to be in charge.

Adl's new public school hate bill

ADL'S NEW PUBLIC SCHOOL HATE BILL

The Anti-Defamation League is determined to establish federally-enforced promotion and protection of homosexuality in America�s primary and secondary public schools. This year ADL repeatedly boasted it was the driving force behind the pro-homosexual federal hate crimes bill. Now ADL is making another attempt to sodomize America. Their latest legislative poison is called The Student Nondiscrimination Act of 2010.

Like the hate law, HR 4530 gives grade and high school homosexual students special rights and protection over the majority. It claims to protect students who feel harassed or intimidated because of their homosexual orientation or desire to be perceived as the opposite gender. If they feel pressured to the point that they don�t want to participate in a school activity, the bill says these students deserve the same federal advocacy given blacks under the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This bill also includes special protection to heterosexual students who feel harassed or intimidated to not associate with homosexuals. These students may also invite federal prosecution of their �homophobic� fellow students, teachers or parents.

HR 4530 says if school officials do nothing when they know a student is being harassed because of their homosexuality or heavily pressured not to associate with a homosexual student, these authorities face federal indictment. State and local governments which do not energetically educate and punish those who intimidate pro-gay students will lose federal funding.

There is no special protection for heterosexual students under assault for their sexuality. Like ADL�s hate law, ENDA and cyber-bullying bill, this legislation blatantly violates the 14 th amendment�s ban on special rights and protections to some over others.

Who Defines Harassment?

While researching my video, Hate Laws: Making Criminals of Christians (Watch it here!), I had lengthy talks with Canadian police. I asked the head of the Vancouver, BC hate crimes unit what police did when they wanted to indict a right-wing �hater� who hadn�t violated the law.

�We just get him on a harassment charge,� she told me. She made it clear that the term �harassment� is so vague and subjective it can easily and legally be used to prosecute virtually any speech critical of others. With malicious intent, The Student Nondiscrimination Act does not adequately define �harassment� or �intimidation.� If this bill passes, these ambiguous terms will be enshrined in federal law providing an excellent pretext for persecution of Christian students and faculty.

Under this act, homosexual teens can decide when they�ve been sufficiently �harassed� or �intimidated.� A grade school boy or girl who thinks they are victimized can persuade their local liberal, feminist or gay district attorney and summon the force of federal intervention. If such �victimized� children want to launch civil lawsuits against students, parents or church leaders, this bill makes it clear nothing should prevent them. As in workplaces if ENDA is passed, school authorities will be afraid to provoke homosexual students in any way. Although penalties are not stipulated, HR 4530 is intended to expand the federal Civil Rights Act of 1964 and subsequent civil rights acts which contain harsh penalties for discrimination, including imprisonment.

There is no evidence that widespread harassment of homosexuals and transgenders in primary and secondary education is an �especially severe problem,� as the bill alleges�not with tolerance education and gay/straight activist groups abounding on campuses! As with their hate bill, ADL is exaggerating an �epidemic of hate� in public schools, dramatizing rare abuses to justify massive federal jurisdiction.

HR 4530 amounts to federal endorsement of adolescent homosexuality as a legitimate, normal alternative. It puts homosexuality on a par with race, religion and gender, characteristics which the government already protects. If passed, it will flood government-sponsored educational programs into public schools to promote homosexual self-esteem. Its encouragement of homosexuality on the grade school level will destroy young consciences even before they have formed.

You Can Stop this Outrage!

Last year, ADL presented its David Ray Ritcheson Hate Crimes Prevention Act (See, ADL's New 'Trojan Horse' Hate Bill) and adjunct legislation to the cyberbullying bill, the Adolescent Web Awareness Requires Education Act (AWARE) (See, Hate Bills: Protest Calls Flood House Judiciary!). Through these bills, the League tried to set up the federal government in pro-homosexual education and anti-bias hate crimes enforcement at every level of public schooling, from kindergarten to grad school. These attempts failed, but ADL�s determination is unwavering. In yet another attempt, before mid-term elections next fall, ADL hopes to quietly move HR 4530 through Congress unnoticed.

There is a good chance they can. Despite 41 Republicans in the Senate, five or six liberal Republicans could vote for it, just as they helped pass the hate bill last July. The Student Nondiscrimination Act, introduced by homosexual Rep. Jared Polis (D-CO), and with 61 cosponsors, is now in the House Education and Labor Committee. This is the same committee which powerfully endorsed ENDA this fall. That�s because 18 of 19 Republican House members, not hearing much protest from the American people, didn�t even bother to show up.

We can�t let that happen again. This bill, slanted toward ostensible protection of America�s youth, is designed to pass without much controversy. Yet it is just as dangerous as ENDA and the cyber-bullying bill�setting up the federal government as a special protector and encourager of homosexuality to our nation�s youngest and most vulnerable citizens.

Call your House and Senate members at 1-877-851-6437 or toll, 1-202-225-3121. Also call crucially important members, especially Republicans, of the House, Education and Labor Committee (names available HERE at www.truthtellers.org). Tell them: �Please do not vote for the Student Nondiscrimination Act, HR 4530. This bill denies equal justice. It gives homosexual students special rights over other students, in violation of the 14 th Amendment to the Constitution. There is little evidence that persecution of homosexual students is a severe national problem meriting federal jurisdiction.�

Here is your vital last statement: �If the senator or congressperson votes for this dangerous legislation, I and my friends will vote out Democrats in the midterm election!�

ENDA TRAMPLES CHRISTIAN CONSCIENCE

When is a Christian obligated to disobey an evil government and face possible persecution, imprisonment�even death? It is when government would require the Christian to disobey God and help corrupt his fellow man. The Anti-Defamation League�s church and workplace hate crimes bill, The Employment Non-Discrimination Act, would cause countless American employers to face this choice.

If approved by the US House in mid-February and later by the Senate and president, ENDA would require Christian employers to hire qualified homosexuals and not fire them because of their sexual orientation. It would exponentially heighten the likelihood of �harassment� lawsuits against Christian employers who witnessed to homosexual employees. ENDA thus coerces Christians to be �unequally yoked� with unbelievers.

Scripture commands: �Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather reprove them.� (Eph. 5:11) The Bible requires Christians to not even eat with so-called Christians who practice sexual immorality (1 Cor. 5:11). ENDA would make it illegal for Christian churches, organizations and employers to observe this command of our faith.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964� from which ENDA receives its authority, is unclear about a church�s obligation to not �discriminate� against minorities. But ENDA could easily be used to force churches to hire homosexuals in at least non-spiritual positions. All it takes is a decree from Attorney General Eric Holder, upheld by President Obama. The ADL and a cluster of Jewish organizations in America, along with other liberal groups, are now pressuring Holder to force Christian churches and organizations to hire homosexuals. [1]

Already Happening in Canada

About five years ago in Canada, a Christian church school discovered it unknowingly hired a practicing homosexual. When they attempted to fire him, he immediately appealed for protection under Canada�s anti-hate law. The government told school authorities they would be fined and imprisoned if they fired him. The church capitulated.

The Bible prophesies that someday Anti-Christ will require all people to receive his mark, �666,� on their forehead or the back of their hand. Refusal means starvation. In that day, millions will rationalize that survival outweighs moral objections. But Christ says anyone who cooperates will be cast into hell (Rev. 14:9-11). Is it a lesser compromise for Christians to hire homosexuals as staff workers�including PE coaches and summer camp counselors�to be mentors and examples for Christian youth? By accepting ENDA�s requirement of a �criticism-free zone� for homosexuals, Christian leaders will provide a perfect base of operation for sodomites and pedophiles to prey on Christian youth, even recruiting them into sexual perversion. Clearly, if any church in our relatively prosperous society submits to ENDA�s terms, their sin is even greater than accepting the mark of the beast to avoid starvation.

Churches and church schools, like businesses of over 15 employees (Rep. Dennis Kucinich wants it lessened to six), will also have to allow males who claim they are �transitioning� into females unlimited access to female bathrooms and shower facilities. If a church school administrator or Christian business owner refuses such a request, they can be indicted as federal hate criminals, heavily fined, and imprisoned. Churches can lose tax exemption and face seizure of property.

Considering its nightmarish and immoral consequences, ENDA must not be allowed to become law! ENDA had hearings in both the House and Senate Education and Labor Committees this fall. Because conservatives were preoccupied with healthcare, there was virtually no encouragement to Republicans to oppose ENDA. In the House hearing, only one in 19 committee Republicans even attended! Result: ADL and the homosexuals triumphed in both hearings.

Normally, laws of this magnitude would be debated in the judiciary committees. But dominant Democrats don�t want feisty Judiciary watchdogs (like Reps. Gohmert, King, Goodlatte and Forbes) to tear into ENDA like they did into the hate bill last April. Televised exposure of that debate led the National Prayer Network to create devastating videos and e-alerts which flashed through the religious right. Bad publicity slowed the hate bill�s passage in the Senate by nearly three months.

Right now, lovers of freedom must bombard their members of the House and Senate and demand they vote no on ENDA. Also call the House and Senate Judiciary Committee members, both Republican and Democrat, with the following message. Tell them, �The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) HR 3017 or HR 2981 and S 1584, is primarily a legal and civil rights issue which should be debated in the House and Senate Judiciary Committees. Yet Democrats are rushing ENDA forward, ignoring due legislative process. I demand that this very dangerous and discriminatory legislation be adequately debated in the House and Senate Judiciary Committees. I urge you to vote no on ENDA.�

Don�t think that Tea Party and townhall activism or Jim Brown�s victory in Massachusetts means the Democrats are going to retreat on ENDA. They are going to try to do as much moral and legislative damage to America as they can�unless you roar in protest now!

This next section of this very buys chapter is important because it shows us how we as Christians we are to listen, watch and pay attention to where God is directing out paths.

9When they came to the place of which God had told him, Abraham built an altar there; then he laid the wood in order and [c]bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar on the wood

 When they go to the place. God is directing the steps. God is saying I want you to go to this place. I am wanting you to follow me. Submission here for a man isn�t what we think it is. It is yielding to the direction that Abraham is being sent.
Then we have Abraham building an alter. I am sure Isaac is helping in this endeavor. It doesn�t say but they are together in this. Building the alter Knowing that he had been asked to lay his son on it. I am sure is difficult. The bible gives details that we need to pay attention to . The wood that Isaac carried was layed on the alter in order. Abraham know that there was order in the fire that was to be on the alter. He knew that God demanded perfection. In the midst of this picture we see that this wood that Isaac carried wood as Jesus carried the cross. We see that Isaac was quiet as a lamb lead to a slaughter. It Doesn�t say that Abraham told Isaac what was going to happen. But the next sentence indicates that there had to have been some conversation that is not recorded. Because the Love and reverence that is shown here for the faith of the parent is shown in the adult child of Isaac compliance with his fathers actions.
�order and [c]bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar on the wood� It is here that we see the faith of not Only Abraham but we see the faith of Isaac. He is walking in his own faith towards God. God honors him for trusting his fathers faith in God and complying to his fathers wishes. Isaac knows this could mean his death. He has faith himself to believe that God would not and a substitute would be provided. This is not just one mans faith it is the faith of the father and the faith of the son..
We see what Isaac didn�t do. He was old enough to over power Abraham beat him up, run away, behave in a manner that would not honor his father. Isaac knew the reason for this trip was to go and worship God. He knew that this was important. He knew God said go. This was something that was of Gods importance�s. Every time I have heard this chapter preached Isaac is a child, this is a child of age 12 or 13 not an adult. Because we can not think that Abraham would do this.

10And Abraham stretched forth his hand and took hold of the knife to slay his son. 11But the [d]Angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, Abraham, Abraham! He answered, Here I am. 12And He said, Do not lay your hand on the lad or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear and revere God, since you have not held back from Me or begrudged giving Me your son, your only son.

Abraham was to full fill the request of god to have his only son be the sacrifice. And before Abraham could raise the knife to slit his neck as you would a calf. God stops him. I do not really believe that God really wanted the actions of Abraham to make Isaac to be wrapped up as the sacrifice and laid out on the alter as the sacrifice. God wanted to know that Abraham could give God his son. allow God to be God in his life. God stopped this death. God wanted to know that Abraham feared and reverenced God .that fear and reverences goes all the way to putting aside your families opinions , your relationships and most of all allowing god to direct you in how you conduct your relationships and your life.
God wanted to know that he was not holding back from God.

13Then Abraham looked up and glanced around, and behold, behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering and an ascending sacrifice instead of his son!

God made provision for a sacrifice to be given. A ram was caught in the thicket. God allowed A substitute offering to be made for Isaac. I am sure Abraham took his son off the alter and they had a glorious reprieve. They rejoiced in that God spared Isaac�s life. They worshiped God through the ram. Isaac was honored by God for his obedience to his father. Abraham was honored by his obedience to God.
This is now a two way conversation between God and Abraham concerning prayer and worship involving sacrifice. This involves obedience in al parties involved and all of this story is concerning how God is a jealous God and how he wants us before he wants us to have our families. How he wants us before he wants us to have everything else in out lives. God is jealous for our relationships and he will ask us to do some things to prove to him we love him more that we love anyone or anything else. All of this involves obedience�s. When your prayer life and your relationship with God gets to the place where you are being asked to place things on the alter. When you a e being asked to walk away from relationships when you a e being told that God is tasking you to give up your most prized position including your children. And there comes appoint where as a parent you do have to give your child to God and let them Go into the big crewel world and let God be God in their lives. God will then Be God in yours on a deeper level. And walk with you in places you have yet to go in your relationship in him.

The continuation of Prayer and conversation between God and Abraham, in Chapter 22 This chapter has so much to say and so much to show us on Abrahams side, on Isaacs side and in every tiny detail that we would need a book to cover all that is in this chapter of the bible. To get to the main points of this chapter we are to look at what God is asking for and it is that He (God) wants all of us. not just a part of us. He wants to be able to provide for us in the midst of what we know and what we don�t. He wants our trust factor. We see that in this story.
Bible History tells fills in the blanks to help us understand more of this story. The area and times that this took place there were false religions that sacrifice their children to the anger and fire gods. The age of these children as sacrifices as children were infants. This was done as a fire sacrifice which later became the god of Baal. However this story is not about an infant. The story of Isaac that takes place at the age between the age of 21 years 30 of age. He is not yet married and doesn�t have his own family yet. Isaac is a major part of the family and is very much his fathers son. and is a Jewish son at that who bevels and follows his father and does what his father asks out of respect and out of much love and honor.

1AFTER THESE events, God tested and proved Abraham and said to him, Abraham! And he said, Here I am.
2[God] said, Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah; and offer him there as a burnt offering upon one of the mountains of which I will tell you.

 God spoke to Abraham in a moment of Prayer. God gave instruction. To leave the place you are in now and go to a place where I tell you. Take your son to the Mountain in which I tell you.

3So Abraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him and his son Isaac; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and then began the trip to the place of which God had told him. 4On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance.

 This is a camping trip for sacrifice. Abraham took 2 servants and his son with him and a donkey to take supplies and firewood for the sacrifice. This trip is beginning to look a lot like to passion story in the new testament in its timing.

5And Abraham said to his servants, Settle down and stay here with the donkey, and I and the young man will go yonder and worship and [a]come again to you. 6Then Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and laid it on [the shoulders of ] Isaac his son, and he took the fire (the firepot) in his own hand, and a knife; and the two of them went on together. 7And Isaac said to Abraham, My father! And he said, Here I am, my son. [Isaac] said, See, here are the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt sacrifice? 8Abraham said, My son, God Himself will provide a lamb for the burnt offering. So the two went on together.

 This section of scripture has so many applications. The servants were told to make a base camp and wait. While Abraham and Isaac went to worship and returning to the base camp. In vs. 6 the scripture says that Abraham took the firewood and placed it on the shoulders of Isaac and the firepot in his hands and the rope and knife Abraham carried and up the trail they went to worship. This is also a picture of Christ carrying the cross through the streets of Jerusalem. Vs 7 is a question of a child like faith coming from a grown man . a Jewish man in deep respect for his father. Following his leadership and imitating his faith. As we have seen parent child relationships between lots wife not being here for her daughters because of her sin of looking back. Abraham is here for his son in the midst of trusting God for provision.

It's been awhile since I posted. I have been healing. I have found myself snooping to see what he is up to, but it doesn't control my days anymore. I stop myself and say: No, I gave that up to God. It's not my responsibility to check up on my husband.

It doesn't matter if I know anyway. It doesn't change the fact that he is going to participate in his behavior. It only adds to my hurt. If I trust God to deal with it, then I must leave it in God's hands and quit trying to control it (which I cannot control anyway.) My responsibility is to be a wife--not to make sure that my husband is being the man I think he should be.

Forgiveness has not come easy. However, I realize that I have also sinned and come short of the glory of God. One sin is not greater than the other in God's eyes. So, who am I to judge?I have come to understand more fully that just like my sin may make my husband feel less loved by me, it doesn't have anything to do with how much I truly do love him; it works visa versa with him as well. He loves me. I know he does. His sin has nothing to do with love. It makes me feel bad, but nevertheless, he doesn't do it because he doesn't love me. He is driven by another force.

How am I making it these days? I stay in prayer. I don't try to do myself what I have asked God to do. I fulfill my own duties as a wife, as a mother, as a career woman, and as a church leader. I do what I am supposed to do, and I let God deal with the rest. I relinquish what control I [I]thought[I] I had. I realize that God only commanded me to love others--not trust others. I only have to trust HIM totally, not my husband. I have realized that I can have limited trust in others. I do trust my husband in some areas--I do trust that he loves me. Yes, I am getting better. Healing has come and it is still in the process; I think the scars may always be, but at least scars don't hurt. The other part of my promise was victory. I know if I have the healing part, that the victory part must be in operation as well. I only write here to bring hope to others who may be facing the ultimate betrayal from the love of their life. There is hope, keep the faith, and remember the greatest is LOVE!

Conference is free, and includes dinner on Friday evening and a continental breakfast on Saturday morning.

The early Bird registration is over. but if you still want to go last min is still better than not going at all.
